The MMTWENTY was designed as a portable electrochemical device specific for uric acid detection using mini protein mimicking native uricase (mp20) encapsulated onto microporous ZIF-8 as a bioreceptor fabricated onto reduced graphene oxide/screen-printed carbon electrode (rGO/SPCE) surface as a transducer, which eventually convert the biorecognition process into a measurable signal and then displayed on the device screen. Mengikut laporan sebanyak 46,812 IP didaftarkan pada 2021. IP adalah permulaan perniagaan berpacukan inovasi yang memberi manfaat secara langsung kepada masyarakat dan negara selepas berjaya dikomersialkan. Ia sama ada dalam bentuk paten, hak cipta, reka bentuk perindustrian, rahsia dagangan dan pelbagai lain penting dalam memastikan keunikan produk dan isu cetak rompak atau pelanggaran hak daripada pesaing. Pegawai Penyelidik Kanan, Seksyen Promosi dan Pemasaran Inovasi, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Asrizam Esam , berkata perniagaan berpacu IP kini menjadi agenda utama supaya manfaat inovasi dapat dinikmati masyarakat dan negara.
